Terms of Service

Last updated: September 17, 2026.

These Terms govern your use of WorkSaid, a service operated by 1358912 Alberta Ltd., an Alberta corporation (“WorkSaid,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Accepting these Terms

By using WorkSaid you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old to use WorkSaid.

2. What WorkSaid does

WorkSaid uses artificial intelligence to analyze a workplace message you provide and generate communication suggestions, including possible replies. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, or potentially offensive, and it may be unsuitable for your situation.

You are responsible for reading any suggestion, editing it, and deciding whether to send it. WorkSaid cannot determine another person’s hidden intentions and does not claim to. WorkSaid does not provide legal, HR, employment, medical, mental-health or crisis advice, and no professional, employment, fiduciary, or advisory relationship is created between you and WorkSaid by your use of the service.

3. Emergencies and serious matters

WorkSaid is not appropriate for emergencies, threats to safety, harassment or discrimination reporting, imminent job loss, legal deadlines, or other situations where professional help is needed. WorkSaid cannot assess whether something is an emergency.

In those situations, use your employer’s reporting process, speak with a qualified professional such as a lawyer, union representative or HR professional, or contact emergency services where appropriate.

4. Your account

  • Provide accurate account information and keep it current.
  • Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Do not share your account or access anyone else's account.
  • Tell us at support@worksaid.app if you believe your account has been used without permission.
  • Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the messages and other content you submit. You grant us only the limited permission we need to process that content in order to provide the service to you.

  • You must have the right to submit the content you provide.
  • Do not use WorkSaid for unlawful, abusive or malicious purposes, or in a way that violates someone's privacy.
  • Do not submit highly sensitive information when it is not needed for the decode.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to bypass credits, payments or usage limits.
  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, probe or interfere with the service, or use automated attacks.
  • Do not impersonate anyone, commit fraud, or use WorkSaid for any illegal purpose.
  • Do not use WorkSaid to harass, discriminate against, threaten or harm another person.

7. Decode credits

  • One successful, complete decode uses one credit.
  • Failed or incomplete decodes do not use a credit.
  • Response Pack credits expire 90 days after purchase.
  • WorkSaid Plus includes 30 credits per billing period.
  • Plus credits reset at each renewal and do not roll over.
  • Unused credits have no cash value and are not transferable.

8. Pricing and subscriptions

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars. A Response Pack is $9 CAD as a one-time purchase. WorkSaid Plus is $19 CAD per month, unless the price displayed to you before you purchase is different, in which case the displayed price applies.

WorkSaid Plus renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not automatically refund the current billing period. Material price changes apply to future billing periods, with the notice required by law.

9. Refunds

Refunds and cancellations are described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Intellectual property

The WorkSaid software, branding, interface and original materials belong to WorkSaid or its licensors. You may use the replies generated for you in your own personal or business communications.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep WorkSaid available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, change, improve or discontinue features. If a change materially affects paying customers, we will communicate it in a reasonable way.

12. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend an account for fraud, abuse, non-payment, security threats or a material breach of these Terms. You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time.

13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

WorkSaid is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and conditions, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any analysis or suggested reply will be accurate, complete, appropriate for your situation, or produce a particular outcome at your workplace, including how another person will respond. You remain responsible for your workplace decisions and for any message you choose to send.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to WorkSaid is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, employment or reputation. We do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, or rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to cover reasonable costs we incur from a third-party claim arising out of your unlawful use of WorkSaid, your violation of someone else’s rights, or your material breach of these Terms. This does not apply to claims caused by our own acts or omissions.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Disputes will be handled by the courts located in Alberta, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

16. Changes and contact

We will post updated Terms here with a new effective date. Questions go to support@worksaid.app, or visit our Support page.
