Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 12, 2026.
This policy explains what information WorkSaid handles, why we handle it, who helps us run the service, and the choices you have.
1. Who operates WorkSaid
WorkSaid is operated by 1358912 Alberta Ltd., an Alberta corporation, which is responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. WorkSaid is available at worksaid.app.
Privacy questions may be sent to support@worksaid.app.
2. Information we may process
- Your email address and the authentication information needed to keep your account secure.
- Messages you submit for decoding.
- The sender relationship and situation context you select.
- The analysis and suggested replies generated for you.
- Saved situations and response history, but only when you are signed in and choose to save them.
- Credit balances, subscription status and transaction identifiers.
- Payment and refund records connected to your purchases.
- Basic technical, usage and analytics information, such as the page an action happened on and an anonymous session identifier.
- Any correspondence you send to our support address.
3. Guest messages
If you decode a message without an account, the message is processed only to produce the result you asked for. Guest messages and results are not written to your account or stored in the WorkSaid application database after your active session.
Like any internet service, requests pass through hosting and security infrastructure that may create short-lived operational logs (for example, error and abuse-prevention records). We do not use those logs to build a record of your messages, and we do not configure any long-term storage of guest message content.
4. Signed-in messages
When you are signed in, your message and its result are saved only if you affirmatively select “Save this situation” before decoding. If you do not select it, the message and result are processed to produce your on-screen result and are not written to your saved situations or response history.
Saved content stays available in your dashboard until you delete it or delete your account, subject to records we are legally required to keep and to routine provider backups.
5. Why we process information
- To analyze messages and generate suggested replies.
- To maintain your account, decode credits and subscription.
- To process payments and refunds.
- To answer support requests.
- To secure, debug and improve the service.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
6. Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run WorkSaid:
- Lovable — application hosting and delivery of the WorkSaid website and server functions.
- Supabase — account authentication, database storage for your account, credits, saved situations and response history, and delivery of account emails such as confirmation and password-reset messages.
- Stripe — payment processing, subscription billing and refunds.
Message analysis and suggested replies are produced by WorkSaid’s own software running on our hosting provider. Your message content is not sent to a third-party AI provider. Usage analytics are recorded in our own database rather than with an outside analytics company.
These providers may process or store information outside Alberta, including in the United States and other countries, where it may be accessible to courts and authorities under local law. We do not publish keys, internal identifiers or configuration details.
7. Payments
WorkSaid does not directly store complete payment-card numbers. Card details are entered with and handled by our payment provider. We retain the transaction, subscription and accounting records we need, such as purchase dates, amounts, plan details and transaction identifiers.
8. Your choices
- You choose what message content to submit.
- Please remove sensitive personal information that is not needed for the decode, such as health details, government identifiers or unrelated third-party information.
- Do not submit information you are not permitted to share.
- Saving a situation is always optional and off unless you select it.
- We do not currently send marketing email. If we ever do, it will be separate, optional and easy to stop.
9. How long we keep information
- Saved situations and response history remain until you delete them or delete your account.
- Unused decode credits are removed when your account is deleted and are not restored.
- Anonymized transaction and accounting records may be retained for as long as tax, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations require.
- Records held by our payment provider remain with that provider under its own retention rules.
- We have not set a fixed retention period for infrastructure backups or operational logs; those follow our providers' standard practices.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, including account authentication, row-level database access controls, transport encryption, and payment, credit and deletion operations that can only run on our servers rather than in your browser. No online service can promise perfect or absolute security, and we do not.
11. Your rights
You may ask for access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. You can delete saved situations yourself and permanently delete your account from your dashboard.
Send privacy requests to support@worksaid.app. We may need to verify your identity, normally by confirming the request from the email address on the account, before acting on it.
12. Children
WorkSaid is made for adults in a workplace setting. It is not directed to anyone under 18.
13. Changes and contact
If we make a material change, we will post the updated policy here with a new date. Questions go to support@worksaid.app. See also our Terms of Service and Refund and Cancellation Policy.
